A representative sample of Roman poetry spanning a hundred years, from c.60 BC to c.45 AD. Although influenced by Greek literature in varying degrees, these Latin poets created works that pushed the envelope technically, socially and morally. It was, indeed, a Golden Age for Roman literature.
